Biux Mengh Waac Introduction Ih hnoi naaiv douc Ging-Sou njaaux buo nyungc longc jienv nyei jauv bun taux mbuo laanh laanh sienx Ziouv nyei mienh. Today this passages taught us three important things to everyone of us as a believers. 6

I. “Maiv dungx nduov ganh laaic haiz liuz doz ziouc gaux aqv I. “Maiv dungx nduov ganh laaic haiz liuz doz ziouc gaux aqv. Daaux nzuonx oix zuqc ei jienv zoux.” (ys.22). Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” (vs.22) 7

III. Tin-Hungh dunh yunh nyei leiz-latc bun mienh duqv zoux bungx nqoi nyei mienh. Haaix dauh zaah mangc, yaac zanc-zanc zaah jienv, maiv la'kuqv ninh haiz nyei leiz, haiz liuz ziouc ei jienv zoux, wuov nyungc mienh yiem ninh zoux nyei sic ziouc duqv orn-lorqc.” (ys.25) “But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.” (vs.25) 9

Tin-Hungh nyei waac beiv hnangv gingx nyei jauv Tin-Hungh nyei waac beiv hnangv gingx nyei jauv. Bun mbuo daaih mangc gaax mbuo baamh mienh longc gingx zoux haaix nyungc, caux gingx ndongc haaix longc jienv bun taux mbuo. God’s word as mirror. Let us see what we use the mirror for, and how the mirror so important to us. 10

Gingx caux M’ziux Mirrors and Lenses

Cie nyei gingx haih tengx mbuo mangc duqv buatc dongh huing nzuonx nyei ga’naaiv. Car mirror can help to tracing convex, or reflect the object image formation that surrounding.

How God’s Word Benefits Us IV. Tin-Hungh Nyei Waac Hnangv Haaix Nor Maaih Lamh Longc Bun Taux Mbuo. How God’s Word Benefits Us

Tin-Hungh Nyei Gingx God’s Mirror 2 Ko^lin^to 13:5 “Meih mbuo oix zuqc zaah ganh mangc gaax, meih mbuo za'gengh sienx Yesu Giduc fai maiv sienx. Oix zuqc kauv meih mbuo ganh. Meih mbuo maiv hiuv duqv Giduc Yesu yiem meih mbuo gu'nyuoz fai? Cuotv liuz meih mbuo kauv maiv duqv nor, meih mbuo hiuv nyei.” 2 Corinthians 13:5 “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?” (NIV) Tin-Hungh Nyei Gingx God’s Mirror

I. Tin-Hungh nyei Waac Beiv Hnangv Gingx (God’s Word As Mirror) “Haaix dauh haiz liuz doz yaac maiv ei jienv zoux, se hnangv dauh mienh longc gingx mangc ninh ganh nyei hmien.” (Yaagorpc 1:23) “Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror.” (James 1:23). 19

I. Tin-Hungh nyei Waac Beiv Hnangv Gingx Nor God’s Word As Mirror

Gingx se aengv cuotv mbuo nyei hmien-mueic, mbuo nyei sin-pei Gingx se aengv cuotv mbuo nyei hmien-mueic, mbuo nyei sin-pei. Mbuo nyei sin zangc, mbuo nyei hnyouv nyei baengc. Mv baac Tin-Hungh nyei waac aengv cuotv mbuo nyei m’nqorngv-famv hnamv nyei jauv, mbuo nyei hnyouv hnamv nyei jauv, mbuo zoux nyei sic, ziangh nyei maengc. Mirror reflect on our appearance of face, body form, and heart, whether infection or not. But God’s Word reflect on our mind, our heart, and our attitude, and deeds.

God’s Word As double-edged sword. II. Tin-Hungh Nyei Waac Beiv Hnangv i Maengx Laic Nyei Nzuqc Ndaauv. God’s Word As double-edged sword.

“Tin-Hungh nyei waac se nangh nyei, maaih qaqv nyei, gauh laic jiex yietc zungv i maengx laic nyei nzuqc ndaauv. Haih nzopv bieqc taux hnyouv caux lingh wuonh gapv nyei dorngx, mbungv-fim caux mbungv-daaux gapv nyei dorngx. Zungv haih siemv duqv mienh hnyouv nyunc zoux nyei caux hnyouv hnamv cuotv nyei sic.” (Hipv^lu 4:12). “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (James 4:12). 23

God’s Word As double-edged sword II. Tin-Hungh Nyei Waac Beiv Hnangv i Maengx Laic Nyei Nzuqc Ndaauv God’s Word As double-edged sword

I maengx laic nyei nzuqc ndaauv se maaih lamh longc, haih bangc duqv zuqc. Mv baac yaac hungh heic gaatv zuqc mienh. Haaix dauh haih longc yaac mbenc bun ninh yiem ziex nyungc jauv. Fih hnangv nyei Tin-Hungh nyei waac yaac haih tengx duqv mbuo, orn hnyouv, njaaux mbuo, bun mbuo maaih lamh hnamv dorngx, se gorngv mbuo muangx, mbuo mbuoqc, mbuo zoux ei nor. Se gorngv mbuo maiv muangx, maiv mbuoqc, ninh yaac haih siemv mbuo, dingc mbuo nyei zuiz. Double-edged sword is useful for those who can use it. But at the same time, it easy to cut you, if you don’t know how use it. In the same way God’s word as the double-edged sword is helpful to those who obey it. It gives encouragement, and hope. But for those who did not obey, it will condemned you.

“Douc-douc Ging-Sou, Tin-Hungh dorh mienh fiev yaac maaih lamh longc weic njaaux mienh, weic gorngv-hemx mienh, weic zorc mienh zoux dorngc nyei dorngx, weic njaaux mienh zoux horpc nyei jauv. Hnangv naaic ziouc bun Tin-Hungh nyei mienh duqv dunh yunh nzoih weic zoux nyungc-nyungc kuv sic.” (2 Ti^mo^tai 3:16-17). “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). 26

III. Tin-Hungh Nyei Waac Beiv Hnangv Dang. God’s Word As A Lamp

“Meih nyei waac se hnangv dang ziux yie nyei zaux-mbiec, yaac zoux yie jauv zaangc nyei njang.” (Singx Nzung 119:105) “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” (Psalm 119:105) 28

Maiv gunv gorngv Ging-Sou ndongc haaix maaih lamh longc bun mbuo Maiv gunv gorngv Ging-Sou ndongc haaix maaih lamh longc bun mbuo. Mv baac se gorngv mbuo maiv doqc, maiv ei jienv njaaux nyei waac zoux nor, yaac maiv haih tengx maiv duqv mbuo. No matter how the Bible so useful and benefit for us. But if we don’t read, don’t obey it. It doesn’t do any good for us at all.

Setv Mueiz Waac Conclusion Se gorngv mbuo oix duqv Tin-Hungh nyei waac tengx mbuo nor, mbuo oix zuqc doqc yaac ei jienv njaaux nyei waac zoux. If we want God’s Word to benefit to us and our lives, we must read and do as it teaches us.

1. “Doqc naaiv buonv sou nyei mienh maaih orn-lorqc aqv 1. “Doqc naaiv buonv sou nyei mienh maaih orn-lorqc aqv. Muangx haiz naaiv deix douc daaih nyei waac yaac ei jienv zoux nyei mienh yaac maaih orn-lorqc, weic zuqc naaiv deix sic oix cuotv nyei ziangh hoc taux fatv aqv.” (Laauc Yaangh 1:3) “Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.” (Revelation 1:3). 31

2. “Maiv dungx la'kuqv zanc-zanc doqc naaiv buonv Leiz-Latc Sou 2. “Maiv dungx la'kuqv zanc-zanc doqc naaiv buonv Leiz-Latc Sou. Ndorm-ndorm muonz-muonz oix zuqc fei-fangv, weic bun meih faix fim ei jienv sou fiev nyei yietc zungv waac. Hnangv naaic meih zoux nyei nyungc-nyungc ziouc zoux duqv longx yaac zoux duqv dunh yunh.” (Yo^su^waa 1:8). “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” (Joshua 1:8) 32

3. “Tin-Hungh dunh yunh nyei leiz-latc bun mienh duqv zoux bungx nqoi nyei mienh. Haaix dauh zaah mangc, yaac zanc-zanc zaah jienv, maiv la'kuqv ninh haiz nyei leiz, haiz liuz ziouc ei jienv zoux, wuov nyungc mienh yiem ninh zoux nyei sic ziouc duqv orn-lorqc.” (Yaagorpc 1:25). “But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.” (James 1:25) 33

4. Yesu gorngv mbuox sienx ninh wuov deix Yiutai Mienh, “Se gorngv meih mbuo zanc-zanc ei jienv yie njaaux nyei waac zoux, meih mbuo za'gengh zoux yie nyei sai-gorx. Meih mbuo ziouc hiuv duqv zien leiz. Zien leiz yaac oix bungx nqoi meih mbuo." (Yo^han 8:32). To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32) 34

5. “Meih mbuo ei jienv zien leiz zoux ziouc bun meih mbuo nyei hnyouv cing-nzengc daaih yaac za'gengh hnamv sienx Yesu nyei gorx-youz. Hnangv naaic meih mbuo oix zuqc longc nzengc hnyouv laanh hnamv laanh. 23 Meih mbuo se ganh siang-yungz jiex, maiv zeiz yiem haih daic nyei buonv yungz, se yiem maiv haih daic nyei buonv yungz. Weic zuqc meih mbuo kaux Tin-Hungh yietc liuz ziangh jienv nyei doz ganh siang-yungz jiex.” (1 Bide 1:22-23). “Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.” (1 Peter 1:22-23). 35
