Why is this doctrine reasonable? Enoch & Elijah: both assumed Matthew 27:52-53 tombs were opened, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised. And coming forth from their tombs after his resurrection, they entered the holy city and appeared to many. Where did they go after this?

And…. Rev 12:1. John sees Mary as already in Heaven body and soul No city claims Mary’s relics Sermons given in the ancient Church on the feast of the Assumption
