Thesis statement Roadmap of the Paper

Think of it as the ANSWER to the question your paper explores. THESIS STATEMENT DEFINITION: A statement that tells readers the main points of your paper. Think of it as the ANSWER to the question your paper explores.

Characteristics: Located at the END of the introduction A ONE SENTENCE statement of the main arguments of the paper States your DISTINCT VIEWPOINT on the subject Answers the questions ‘HOW’ and/or ‘WHY’
