Introducing Maker Spaces in your Library Maker spaces allow you to learn by doing. It’s a Hands on approach to learning!

Why are Maker Spaces important? I learn to work with a team. I think critically. I solve problems. I create and see the results of my work.

Teamwork in Maker Spaces Each team has four roles. A student may perform more than one role. LEAder—Reads instructions. Makes Decisions. Breaks a Tie. Recorder—Documents evidence or explains findings Time Manager—Keeps group on task. Watches clock to be sure task is completed. Materials/table Manager—organizes materials. Gives out materials as needed. Cleans up.
