Advisory Council Meeting 2 2.1 REDESIGNING SCHOOL COUNSELING REVIEW and REVISE Advisory Council Meeting 2 Program Goals Redesigning School Counseling (RSC) is an initiative of the American Student Achievement Institute. RSC involves educators, students, parents, and community members in a vision-based and data-driven process through which they design a locally appropriate school counseling program that addresses students’ academic, career, and citizenship development. In Indiana, schools may wish to submit the School Counseling Portfolio designed through the RSC process to the Indiana Department of Education for the Indiana Gold Star School Counseling Award and to the American School Counselor Association for the RAMP (Recognized Model School Counseling Program) Award.
