Money Matters Workshop Key Stage 1 Keeping our money safe

Birthday Money REF 1 Intro: On each click the items will appear and then the five pound note will come out of the card.

Places to keep money safe? On a shelf A purse A money box A bank Under the bed A pocket REF 1A: On each click the picture and word will appear. In a jar In your hand A safe box

The Lost Coins… “Take good care of the money…” REF 1B: On each click the items will appear, starting with the milk. The coins will then move towards the boy.

REF 1B: On each click the coins will spin and then move towards the boy’s pocket and then disappear.

REF 1B: Click for the shop to appear.

REF 1B: Click for the milk to shake and then move into the trolley and then click for the sweets to shake and then move into the trolley

Pay here REF 1B: Click for the ‘pay here’ sign to flash and then the speech bubble to appear with the pocket and then the arrow and then the milk will shake and return to the fridge and the sweets will shake and return to the fridge and then tears will come from the boy.

Think about: How did Emma and Lucas feel? What would they say to the shopkeeper? What would their aunt say when they get home? What else could Lucas and Emma have done? REF 1B: Click for each of the questions to appear.
