Negative Behavior Consequences  Warning Time out and parent contact Teacher detention Guidance Referral Administrative Referral as per the Broward County School Behavior Matrix

Positive Behavior Rewards   Verbal acknowledgment Smiles Caught You Excelling tickets Positive phone call home Classroom Reward (to be determined by teacher) Team Reward (to be determined by team)

Grading It is very important that all classwork be completed on time. No late work will be accepted unless due to an absence. A student with an EXCUSED absence has two days to complete the assignment and submit it to the teacher. It is the absent student’s responsibility to find out what was missed and submit the work by the due date. Tests will always be sent home for you to see. They need to be returned with a parent signature. Especially for failing test grades.

Grading Weights Algebra 1 & Geometry Tests – 55% Quizzes – 25% Classwork/Homework – 20%
