WP2. Excellent university for the researchers Goals/Realization level Enhancement of HE Research Potential Contributing to Further Growth of the WB Region (Re@WBC) WP2. Excellent university for the researchers Activity Goals/Realization level 2.1. University centers and HR offices reinforced The improvement of bylaws in order to make HR offices and research centres more functional. The activities within this task are still ongoing. 2.2 Administrative staff competences improved Raising awareness of the importance of C&C principles and their implementation. Three administrative representatives attended the training session on September 2016 in Novi Sad. 2.3. University managements educated on the C&C implementation The seminar on education of management boards was held on June 2016 in Belgrade.   2.4 HRS4R strategy created and adopted at partner universities A working group for the development of HRS4R strategy has been established in September 2017. The first meeting was held in October 2017. The UB has submitted the Endorsement letter to the EU Commission. 2.5. Training trainers The UB representatives attended meetings in Coventry, Liege and Turin. The participants are successfully trained on inter-cultural communications, researcher ethics, writing research proposal, soft skills and entrepreneurship, teaching methodology and multidisciplinarity

Excellent university for the researches Activity Goals/Realization level 2.6. Promotion procedures improved Governed by highest ethical and professional standards the improvements of existing bylaws were adopted in 2016. The UB has submitted a report about the present state of promotion procedures. 2.7. Plagiarism monitoring tools implemented The plagiarism software has been successfully installed. The implementation is in progress. 2.8. Ethical committee procedures improved The ethics implementation at University of Belgrade is supported and governed by series of bylaws: The Statute of University of Belgrade, The Regulation of Ethical Committee, The Code of Professional Ethics, and The Regulations for determining the nonacademic behavior in preparation of written works, all undergone the amendments in 2016. The UB had two representatives at meeting on Research Ethics in Kragujevac. 2.9. Cooperation with scientific diaspora established Action plan for the Internationalization has been adopted; Alumni associations has been supported through coordination networks; Report has been prepared and submitted to UT, the task leader .

WP3. Excellent researchers for the community Goals/Realization level Enhancement of HE Research Potential Contributing to Further Growth of the WB Region (Re@WBC) WP3. Excellent researchers for the community Activity Goals/Realization level 3.1. Researchers trained on C&C and HRS4R The UB successfully completed this task. Total of 109 participants (PhD students, Researches, Teaching Assistants and Assistant Professors) were closely introduced with the role and significance of C&C and HRS4R through organization of two seminars. The young researchers and PhD students are informed in detail about the opportunities coming from implementation of HRS4R and C&C principles. 3.2. Webpages offer opportunity links As a leader of this task, UB has developed and distributed to the partner universities Questionnaire about the current state of databases. According to the reports from each WBP partner, the UB made the analysis on the feedbacks. In order to define next steps regarding this activity, the final report will be discussed in detail at Steering Committee scheduled for 6 – 7 November 2017 at the University of Sarajevo. We expect improvement in transparency, more access to important information and career opportunities.

WP1. Preparation for the HR research management reform Enhancement of HE Research Potential Contributing to Further Growth of the WB Region (Re@WBC) WP1. Preparation for the HR research management reform Activity Goals/Realization level 3.3. Young researchers trained on research methodology The UB has organized two seminars regarding this activity (14 June and 26 October 2017). Total of 43 researchers has been trained on research methodology so far. We expect completion of this task in January 2018. 3.4. Young researchers trained in various skills The UB delegated 17 participants to attend training in Kragujevac ( 11-12 September 2017). 3.5. Training on teaching methodology 3.6 Pilot Mentoring system introduced 3.7. Measures for enhancement of multidisciplinarity in research Not completed. 3.8 Guide book published The UB has submitted Chapter on Scientific and Technical Communication.
