Integrated System Robot Project MWSU EET482 Project #: 1 Moving/ Soldered Robot Project

Building the body of the robot Took about a hour to complete Hardest part was placing the gears in the correct location so that they would connect with each other and not fall out Easiest part was screwing on the legs I learned that it is very important to slow down and look at the directions your parts are in and not just the location.

Putting together the circuit board This took several hours Hardest part was putting in all the transistors Easiest part putting in all of the resistors I learned once again the direction of some of your components are just as important as the location.

Mistakes along the way I soldered in some of transistors in facing the wrong way. Fixed by playing more attention the second time My gears did not line up on one side of my motor Took that side apart and put it back together The sensor was not facing forward on my robot Fixed by turning the sensor Screwed my wheels on too tight and cracked them Wheels still work

Function of the robot It will move forward until it sees something in front of it and then it will turn
