INSPIRE Interactive Data Specifications Robert Tomas, Emanuela Epure, Ariane Zakarya MIG-T meeting, Madrid 11.-12.3.2015

This INSPIRE Interactive Data specification platform offers INSPIRE data providers two new applications to support them in the implementation of the INSPIRE data specifications. 1. Data Specifications - facilitates the reading of INSPIRE Technical Guidelines documents by enabling to study only selected parts of the INSPIRE technical documentation. Furthermore the selected parts can be compared with the same parts from up to 3 data themes. 2. Find your scope - supports data providers with identification of the INSPIRE spatial data themes and spatial object types that are relevant to the dataset(s) they administer. Should be useful especially in situations when datasets fall under two or more INSPIRE data themes / application schemas content. http://inspire-regadmin.jrc.ec.europa.eu/dataspecification

“Find your scope” workflow

Step1. Theme selection

Step 2. Application schemas selection Step 3. Object pre-selection

Step 4. Object selection refinement Step 5. Expected outcome 2 - Structured pdf documents: - First level pdf (list of selected objects + properties + only a list of associated objects) - Full pdf (first level + properties of associated objects)

“Find your scope” application Additional benefits: Identification of the data properties needed to be transformed according to INSPIRE requirements; Identification of data gaps in your DB; Identification of potential extensions to the INSPIRE core data models. http://inspire-regadmin.jrc.ec.europa.eu/dataspecification Please, use our feedback tool for any idea, bug or improvement that you would like to see.
