YFN Education Achievement Coordinator Purpose: To establish a framework for properly sustained consolidation and reporting of data regarding First Nations educational achievement in the Yukon

Reporting of Data BCP exam results show a difference between FN Pass % and Non-FN Pass %. Greater pass % for Non-FN students than FN students. Exceptions for Communications 12 and Francais Langue 12. Access to raw data may help to determine the characteristics of students who pass the BCP exam. Access to data regarding average grade lacking.
Reporting of Data Continued Average absence days per school year is significantly greater for FN Students than for Non-FN Students. Urban students in overall have less average absence days More data required to see why the disparity exists (i.e Monthly average absences) The difference in graduation rate between FN and Non-FN is greater for Urban students. (33 Percentage points vs 13 Percentage Points)
