Why do people go to war? Complete the worksheet by giving a reason for and against each cause for war. Extension: Which is the most justifiable and why?

Britain and Syria… With the person next to you, quietly discuss the current situation between Britain and Syria. You may wish to make notes in the back of your book Be prepared to feedback

Should Britain get involved in Syria? As a class we are going to decide whether Britain should get involved in airstrikes in Syria or not. Half of the class will be PRO airstrikes and half will be ANTI. Watch the following clips and make notes to support your groups’ case You will then have to prepare a strong case to present to the class as to why we should or shouldn’t get involved…

North was backed by China and the South by USA. North Vietnam won and reunified the North and South; neighbouring countries (Laos and Cambodia) also became under North Vietnam’s control. The Vietnam War – Simplified!
