Using the Gospels and 1 Corinthians 15: 3-8 as guides; it is clear that Jesus made anywhere from 9 to 11 “appearances” to people after being resurrected from the dead over a period of 40 days.

used in the New Testament (diakrino). Distazo "to stand in two ways“, “wavering”, “hesitant”, "uncertain which way to take" Used in Matt. 14:31 & Matt. 28:17,  referring to believers whose faith is small. This is not the typical word for doubt used in the New Testament (diakrino).

but understands it & loves us through it. As Jude 1:22 states, we should have mercy on each other in times of doubt, just as God does…yet still spur each other further on towards a deeper faith in Him; just as He always encourages “doubters.” God rebukes doubt in us, but understands it & loves us through it.

John 20:27 Then [Jesus] said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; See my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
