Syllabus and Class Information Pre AP World Geography Mr. Clark Fall 2014

For today, 08/25/14 Welcome back, scholars! Please pick up a “Course Syllabus” & a “Syllabus and Classroom Scavenger Hunt” and quietly begin working

AP = College Class!  Pre AP classes prepare you for AP classes. And in AP classes, you can earn college credit.

Class Tutorials Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:45 – 3:15 Other days by appointment only. Please don’t just show up

Grading Policy 55%: Major Grades 40%: Daily Grades Exam Project 40%: Daily Grades Not a MG or a R & W Assessment 5%: R & W Assessment R and W Assessments, duh  CCISD4ME = monitor grades

Late Work 1 day late = 25% deduction 2 days late = 25% deduction Max score = 75 2 days late = 25% deduction 3 days late = no credit

Absences 7 days to make up a test or quiz to avoid a grade of 50 Must write “absent” or “late” on work being turned in after due date
