Year-Round Sports OFFERED CHEERLEADING- Varsity & JV VARSITY (Fall, Winter & Competition) Grades: 4-8 Tryouts are in spring each year for following school year (team is currently full) Junior Varsity (Fall, Winter & Competition) Grades: 3-5; max. 20 students First come, first serve. Returning cheerleaders will be given priority. MINI CHEER Grades K-2; max. 20 students Mini’s attend games for basketball (winter). New! K-5 Competitive Squad Grades: K-5; max. 20 students Cheerleaders will be required to tryout for this team. Tryouts will be held Tuesday, August 21st and Wednesday, August 23rd from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in Room #231. Team will participate in various competitions throughout the year. This team will not cheer at any games, so cheerleaders may also be on JV or Minis.

Student Expectations All student athletes must attend practices and games 3 Strike Rule: If a student misses 3 practices or games (without sufficient notification or reason), they will be removed from the team. Comply with our Academic, Attendance, and Behavior Policy (included in registration packet) Follow our Code of Ethics (included in registration packet)

Pinecrest Sports Fees After-School Annual Registration Fee Team Fee Team fees range in price depending on sport. After-School Annual Registration Fee Paid one time per school year All athletes must pay in order to participate in sports TEAMS Registration Packet must be filled out and turned in with sports paperwork $50 Fee per student Uniform Fee Uniform Shirt Fee included in registration price. Shirts will be kept by the student at the end of the season.

How to sign-up Sign up with coaches or attend tryouts Coaches will submit final roster to office for Infinite Campus billing. Payment due by August 31, 2018 in order to be eligible to participate in games. Turn in all completed forms to the Coach by August 31, 2018. If forms are not completed, students will not be able to play. Physical Form (Grades 6-8 required, K-5 Suggested) Pinecrest parent and player code of ethnics Academic and behavioral agreement Step 3 Complete & turn in all paperwork Step 2 Make Payment Step 1 Sign-Up/Try-Out with Coaches

Transition from end-of-school to After- School Activities 3:30pm: Students are released from classroom 3:30-4:00pm: Students must either be picked up or they will be checked-in to TEAMS for Sports/After-School Activities. Snack is provided. Families must pay $2 per day for the 30 minutes in TEAMS. 4:00pm: Coaches will pick-up their students from TEAMS for practice or clubs. We ask that all students are picked up promptly from their practice or club. If student is not picked up by the designated end time, students will be checked in to TEAMS by the coaches. Families must pay additional TEAMS fees.
