Mrs. Hake’s Friday, 23rd edition CLASSROOM 2017-2018 news Sneak Peak Week in Review: This week we learned all about the United States of America. In the science center we put together a puzzle of the United States, in the art center we hole punched USA confetti, and we learned a lot about money. This week we learned that we live in the United States of America and talked about all the different US symbols. We talked about President’s Day, listened to a song about the presidents, and explored coins. We read the pop-up story “America the Beautiful” by Robert Sabuda and wrote what the president of the United States should do. at Next Week Theme of the Week: Dr. Seuss Vowel friends: i silent e words say i like in slide Sci/Social Studies: author study Math: subtraction/money Rainbow words: three/yellow Upcoming Events: February 26th through March 2nd 7:30am - 5:00pm Kindergarten Registration for Incoming Kindergarteners GET STARTED NOW BY VISITING: http://www.tippcityschools.com/getregistered March 26th – 30th Spring Break Contact info: Kari Hake khake@tippcity.k12.oh.us 937-667-2275
