Because benchmarking against competitors motivates organizations to do better. It also gives them a clear indication of industry trends, so they know where to start with their change initiatives. A solid analysis plan drives out the value from the survey data, helping to understand what the numbers mean. Analysis plans also require an understanding of goals, so those that create one often understand their organizational strategy well. Follow your goals to create a practical analysis plan.
