Home is where the heart is..

Today’s Gospel reading. Jesus said to the Jews: ‘You sent messengers to John, and he gave his testimony to the truth: not that I depend on human testimony; no, it is for your salvation that I speak of this. John was a lamp alight and shining and for a time you were content to enjoy the light that he gave. But my testimony is greater than John’s: the works my Father has given me to carry out, these same works of mine testify that the Father has sent me.’

John was a light, guiding the Jews to the True light – Jesus! How can we act like ‘light’ in our lives? Watch me!

Go light your world… Home is the symbol of heaven Not all homes are the same, some people live with parents, grandparents, siblings, foster parents, friends. But where we live and who we live with is our home  Class discussion: How can you bring light to your home? What can you do around your home to help make sure that everyone feels loved, your parents, siblings, foster parents, carers, pets or anyone that you live with….

Almighty God, I entrust all who are dear to me to your never-failing care and love, for this life and the life to come; knowing that are doing for them better things than I can desire or pray for; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
