The System in more detail Heat Exchanger: Use the heat generated from the Main Engine Exhaust Economizer to heat up the water. The steam heaters are already installed on the ships. Use this steam to heat up the seawater via a high capacity heat exchanger Temp IN – 170 deg C (steam) Water out – 80 deg C (salt water)

The System in more detail Water Pump: The water pump needs to produce a large water flow Example: LOA 300m = 4000 ltr /min Pressure is low – approx 1 Bar Water is Sea Water (except for cleaning cycle)

The System in more detail Pipes: There are 2 systems of pipes: Bring water to deck and connect to spraying pipes High density rubber with high insulation gradient Or Fixed Steel pipes Bring water to Spray Nozzles Special, vari-diameter pipes Vari-diameter pipes sections are max 150m each Pipes are connected to railing with special clamps Vari-diameter pipes can be installed permanently.
