Chapter 10 test. This week’s math facts: 9+7, 7+9, 8+5, and 5+8 Reading – Click, Clack, Moo, cause and effect, making predictions, synonyms Writer’s Workshop – continue writing and editing fictional stories English - Unit six test on Thursday. Social Studies – geography maps, capital, countries, states and landforms Cursive Handwriting – lower case c and d Spelling Words: moon new zoo soon flew grew too chew room food know blew Bonus Words: shampoo classroom newspaper Vocabulary Words: impatient furious neutral emergency demand sincerely Reminders: We emptied our marble jar of kind deeds before our break. The students were able to create those beautiful gingerbread houses for their job well done. Students should have at least ten hours of reading on their reading log by January 18th. Please encourage your child to read aloud to you and discuss the book together. Please turn in the $20 for school fees as soon as possible. Thanks Ethan for being our shining star before our break.
