Figure 1 Cellular Stress and Ripoptosome Formation Different forms of cellular stress converge on the formation of the Ripoptosome (a FADD/RIP1/caspase-8 complex), which is sensitized by IAP depletion and FLIP isoform modulation. The Ripoptosome, in the absence or presence of RIP3, can either lead to RIP1 kinase-dependent apoptosis or RIP1 kinase-dependent necrosis, respectively.
