Older Interview Summary pauline STRANGER (grandmother) age: 83 Doesn’t know any specific rap songs Thinks best vacation spot is Florida because of the warm weather and laid back lifestyle Thinks 7th graders still have a lot to learn Favorite color is blue because that is the color of grandpa’s eyes

PEER INTERVIEW summary LUCY LAW (FRIEND) AGE: 13 Knows a lot of rap songs and music but does not enjoy it. Favorite rapper is Drake. Thinks the best vacation spot is Ocean City, NJ because of the boardwalk and her family has a house down there Thinks 7th graders do not get the respect that they deserve in middle school Favorite color is grey because that is the color of the Vans she wears everyday

YOUNGER INTERVIEW summary JACK SMITH (COUSIN) AGE: 7 Thinks rap is funny because their voices sound weird and they talk too fast, but doesn’t know any rappers by name Thinks the best vacation spot is a day at Sesame Place because he loves rides and eating ice cream Thinks 7th graders are old and cool Favorite color is blue because it is the color of his favorite train toy

Conclusion of findings: After my three interviews, I concluded that: Teenagers are more likely to be familiar with specific rap songs and artists because of the radio stations they listen to and popularity of the style in that age group Teens and older people like vacationing at beaches, they probably aren’t as fun for younger kids because there isn’t a lot to hold their attention…more for relaxing People’s age was a factor in their opinions of seventh graders since all answers were very different. Age does not impact favorite color selection, but does impact the reason behind it. Colors are universal. Conclusion of findings:
