That sends down (from time to time) rain from the sky in due measure;- and We raise to life therewith a land that is dead; even so will ye be raised (from the dead)

Characteristic of rains: The amount of water evaporates same as the amount that falls Estimated that in a second16 Mio tons of water evaporates Average speed is 8-10 km/hr regardless of height Min height for cloud 1200 mtrs An object with the same weight as raindrop would fall at 558km/hr speed Clouds can form at 10,000mtrs, guess what the speed would have been! But -- rain has special form that increases friction and prevents acceleration (Subhanallah!)

It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until thou seest rain-drops issue from the midst thereof: then when He has made them reach such of his servants as He wills behold, they do rejoice!

Rain stages: 1 st stage: Raw material rises to the air 2 nd stage: Clouds are formed 3 rd stage: Rain falls

1 st stage: Raw materials raises to the air It is Allah who sends the wind… Air bubbles formed by foaming bursts and cause water particles ejected to sky – called aerosol Form clouds by collecting water vapor (water trap process)

2 nd stage: Clouds are formed And they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments… Form clouds by collecting water vapor that condenses around the salt crystals or dust particles The clouds are very small (0.01mm) – suspended in the air and fills the sky Sky covered with clouds

3 rd stage: Rains fall Until thou seest rain-drops issue from the midst thereof… Water particles thickens and forms raindrop The drops become heavier than air Rain starts falling

Conclusion Every stage is explained in Al Quran The stages are explained in their order Al Quran provides most correct explanation Al Quran announced this centuries before being discovered by science

LIFE GIVEN TO DEAD LAND AL FURQAN 25:48-49 وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ الرِّيَاحَ بُشْرًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهِ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاء مَاء طَهُورًا لِنُحْيِيَ بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا وَنُسْقِيَهُ مِمَّا خَلَقْنَا أَنْعَامًا وَأَنَاسِيَّ كَثِيراً And He it is Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His mercy, and We send down pure water from the sky,- That with it We may give life to a dead land, and slake the thirst of things We Have created,- cattle and men in great numbers

Rain has fertilization effect Contains certain substance that will fertilize land (Surface-tension drops – a micro layer above sea surface) The layer contains many leftover caused from pollution of microscopic algae and zooplanktons Collect some elements from sea water (phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, zink, copper, cobalt, etc) essentials for the growth of seeds and plants 150 Mio tons of these fertilizer are dropped to land every year as natural fertilization Otherwise land would have been dead!

LIFE GIVEN TO DEAD LAND AL QAF 50:9 وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاء مَاء مُّبَارَكًا فَأَنبَتْنَا بِهِ جَنَّاتٍ وَحَبَّ الْحَصِيدِ And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests
