Now I will begin my journey to the Atlantic Ocean. You should come with me! Hey there! I’m Drip! I just fell to the ground with millions of my brothers and sisters. We can start right here, in the Blue Ridge Mountains!
The Mountain Region is in the northern part of Georgia.
Some of the animals include the Black Bear, and the Great Horned Owl. My job in this region is to provide water to all types of different plants and animals. Some of the animals include the Black Bear, and the Great Horned Owl. the Whitetail Deer, the Red Fox,
This is also where you will find Atlanta, our state capital. Our next stop is the Piedmont Region. You live here, in Gwinnett County.
Animals in this region include the Honeybee, and our state bird, the Brown Thrasher. the Copperhead Snake,
Both, the Piedmont and the Mountain Regions have similar plant life. and the Sensitive Fern. These include the Georgia Pine, the Dogwood Tree, the Maple Tree,
Now we will travel to the southern part of the state to the Coastal Plain Region.
Georgia’s coast has sandy soil and many different plants and animals! Animals include the Fiddler Crab and Spanish Moss. Plants include the Live Oak and the Blue Heron.
Within the Coastal Plain Region is the Swamp and Marsh Region. The most famous swamp in Georgia is the Okefenokee Swamp.
and Water Lilies. Cypress Trees, Damselflies, River Otters, like Alligators, The swamp has many interesting plants and animals that are not found in other habitats…
Our last stop is in the Atlantic Ocean.

Wow, I’ve traveled from the Mountain Region to the Piedmont Region and ended my journey in the Atlantic Ocean. to the Coastal Plain and the Swamp,
