Goal Setting

Be Prepared Bring All Materials to Class : Paper Agenda Notebook Homework Note-cards Textbook Highlighters

Study Habits Set a regular time to study Remove distractions Have necessary supplies Record all assignments in your agenda book

Where Should I Study? A place with few distractions Somewhere with adequate lighting Comfortable, but not too comfortable

Organization Place all homework in your notebook in the proper section. Use dividers in your notebook. Bring your notebook(s) to all classes. Complete all assignments on time and turn them in. Gather materials for school the night before.

In order for something to be a goal: • It has to be important to you, personally. • It has to be within your power to make it happen through your own actions. • It has to be something you have a reasonable chance of achieving. • It must be clearly defined and have a specific plan of action.
