Turn in your workbook to page 499 Read and highlight the definitions and theorems on pages 499 – 500 Complete Reflection questions 1a and 1b Minor arcs are be named by the two points. Major arcs and semicircles must be named by three points.

Arc and Chord Theorems In a circle or congruent circles, 2 central angles are congruent if and only if their chords are congruent and their intercepted arcs are congruent.  If a radius (or diameter) is perpendicular to a chord, then it bisects the chord and the chord’s intercepted arc.  
