Thanks for the news letter - most interesting and great to see work starting in ernest. As a former resident of Cambridge and user of the line it seemed very odd that it was allowed to close. Good Evening East West Rail,I have just watched last night’s “Great Railway Journeys” with Michael Portillo, which featured the excellent work going on on the East West link. Michael did mention, the exciting possibility, of the entire Varsity Line, to Cambridge, being re opened one day.. Carry on the great work! Thank you for your update. As to the works in hand. As  I live at Station Cottages Steeple Claydon. I would be great'full for as much info as you can provide. This Line Should Never Have, Closed. It will be a great day, when we see train's going by. Thank you so much for keeping me informed about this project, which is dear to my heart. I appreciate it and I wish you every success. Thank you for your up-date however your transmission is almost undecipherable  the pre-fix is o.k.but the rest of it is very faint.
