The Need for a Collaborative Approach Session 1 Presentation 4

Why are RSTs effective? Complex issue with many contributing factors. Hazards are not confined to any one operational area. RSTs have the ability to collect information, identify problems and respond more efficiently than currently. Requires a multidisciplinary approach to manage effectively. Why is ICAO and the Runway Safety Partners focussing on RSTs as a means for improving runway safety outcomes?
