We have been practicing identifying and writing color words, as well as reading many color themed books. We read The Deep Blue Sea and followed up by sequencing the events in the story and making our own individual book that we can read to retell the story. We did a writing piece off of the books A Color of His Own and Lemons Are Not Red. We shared our writing with the class. After this week, weekly newsletters can be found on my website and will be emailed to you if you supplied an email address to me. If you prefer a hard copy, please let me know.
