RECOMMENDED CURRICULUM Contains all the obligatory subjects and criterion requirements. Divided for semesters Shows subject codes, pre-requisites, credit points and exam types. Course directors, departments and number of classes. Build up of the curriculum Recommended Curriculum: Importance of the registration and completion of obligatory subjects otherwise the student may loose a year. You need to complete elective and optional subjects as well: General Medicine: 34+18 Dentistry: 25+15 Pharmacy: 35+15 Biotechnology: 6 Some subjects are built on eachother need to complete the prerequsities before registering for the course. completion of a subject or parallel registration for courses. (p) maximum of prerquisites: 3 An obligatory subjects only has obligatory prerequisites. Some courses, mainly practices, needs a valid medical check-up certificate for registration.

MEANINGS OF SUBJECT CODES:
ABSENCES: Certification of absence: student who was abscent from less than 15% of the course can not be dismissed from exams. Absence between 15%-25%: The Course Director looks into the case. The decision is shown with a signature or blocked signature. Absence reaches 25% or more: The student is not allowed to take an exam.
TERMS OF EXAMS Creditpoints are given for subjects that you get a grade for. Grades are given in exams, final exams and subjects ending with a mid-semester grade. Electives and optionals are being valuated with mid-semester grades. Criterion requirements do not give credits nor grades. Exams: First exam of the semester (A) Retake examination (B) Repeated retake exam (C ) Dean’s chance (D) given only once druing your studies. Can be requested in the RO after paying the exam fee. EXAMS CAN ONLY BE TAKEN IN THE EXAMINATION PERIOD! ( INCLUDES DEAN’S CHANCE.) NO EXAMS OUTSIDE THE EXAMNIATION PERIOD.
TERMS OF EXAMS : The student may go for exams after having the end semester signature in Neptun, given by the course directors according to participation in classes and fullfillments. Exams can be held in oral and written forms. One course has multiple exam dates. Planning is important in the exam period: Go for exams in the beginning of the period Sometimes you do not pass for the first time. Avaliable places are limited on the exams headcount.
EXAM PERIOD: Ways of registration and deadlines can be found on the RO website: Announcements. You will also be informed via e-mail. PLEASE READ YOUR EMAILS REGULALRY! Exam: Registration until: 9:00 am on the previous WORKING DAY of the exam. Dropping an exam: 9:00 am 2 WORKING DAYS before the exam. (HOLIDAYS!!) Credits only given from grade 2 (satisfactory).
Fees of exams: 1. Transcribe the item in Neptun: Starting from the third exam (regardless the semester): Neptun / Finances. (not created automatically!) Guide can be found on the login page of Neptun: „Transcribing and payment of retake exam fee.” After transcribing the item you have to pay. (4900 Ft) Only after payment you can register for exams. 2. „Abscent from exams”: The fee item is created by the Central Registrar’s Office. (4900 Ft.)
EXAM FEES
DISMISSALS: Not completing the 20/40 credit rule: By the end of the second active semester you do not complete: 20 credits (15 from obligatory subjects) By the end of the fourth active semester you do not complete: 40 credits (20 from obligatory subjects) In case of credit transfers (KÁB) more than 10 accepted obligatory subjects we count the 3rd and 5th semesters.
DISMISSALS: 6 UNSUCCESSFULL EXAMS: The number of unsuccessful exams taken reaches 6 (including the Dean’s chance): 1 A exam + 5 retake exams. You will not receive an alert notification before the 6th exam.
DISMISSALS: Third time subject registration: Registering for a course the third time but not completing it. You will receive an alert notification by post when registering for the third time. Importance of correct address details !!!
DISMISSALS: Termination of sudent status: Have more than 2 passive semesters in a row On written request of the student handed in to the RO (or via e-mail). In case of disciplinary actions against the student Reaching double of the training time.
Please remember: Follow your recommended curriculum Always register for obligatory, criterion requirement, elective and optional subjects within the registration period: Make sure you have enough credits even if you do not pass some of the subjects. Study from the semester start and during the semester as well. Take exams at the begining of the exam period Leave yourself some time for the retake exams.
