Science/ Social Studies Johnson and Jump Journal Week of Dec 11-15 The Leader in Me Math Unit 7 Division – Students will be learning about writing division stories and reviewing Unit 7 Test on Tuesday. 9 weeks test On Tuesday. Unit 7 Test on Friday Facts Quiz #9 will be on Friday. It will be on 0’s, 1’s, 5’s and 10’s facts. This test will go in the gradebook. In our class last week, students created a class mission statement. *Book report due: 12/18 Reading Reading Log Homework -Students read AR books for 15 minutes Monday-Thursdays and record information in log. I check it on Fridays. *Reading logs will go home on Monday Unit 3 week 5- Comprehension skills: summarize, sequence, Genre: expository, Vocabulary skill: suffixes, Writing skill: voice, Grammar: combining sentences with verbs Vocabulary Words: agreeable, appreciated, boomed, descendants, emigration, pioneers, transportation, vehicles Spelling words: clap, camp, hand, stamp, snack, rack, grabs, glad, bill, miss, click, pink, sick, grin, lift Upcoming Events December 14th – Grinch Day – activities in class, students wear green or a Grinch shirt December 19th – Winter Class Party –12:30-2:00.
