Urbanizaton has had its toll on the population. More processed are consumed than fresh foods. Nutrition Foods must be careful slected especially for diabetic patients. Fats must be reduced generally. A certified nutritionist can be consulted for proper diet management. Regular medical checkups are recommended. There's nothing more important than our good health - that's our principal capital asset. - Arlen Specter -Gestational diabetes develops in pregnant women and persists for some months. Diabetes if not managed well can end up in complications. The American Diabetes Association stated some complications which include: - Foot complication Liver damage Eye complications Nerve Damage Cardiovascular Diseases Skin conditions Most of these complications can be avoided by consciously staying on a good diet, exercise and a regular check up. Exercise The National institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney disease stated that exercising helps the absorption of sugar or glucose by your muscles, preventing it from escalation. Blood glucose level must be checked before engaging in any form of exercise. All you need to know about diabetes Diabetes in simple terms is when your blood glucose level escalates to uncontrollable levels because of in adequate production of insulin by the body. When managed proper there would be nothing really to worry about. There three types of diabetes. Type 1 Type 2 Gestational diabetes The type 1 diabetes is very chronic It is developed from birth. The type 2 diabetes is mostly developed. There is a condition called pre- diabetes, which develops into the type 2 diabetes when not managed properly.
