Media Words from Mrs. Brayshaw Mrs. Stephanie Brayshaw Your child will read many wonderful stories this year and they will get to know some very interesting characters along the way as they do. They will also read several different types of informational texts and learn how to effectively access and evaluate information in print and online. This will be a very exciting school year for your child! Students will have opportunities to earn many great rewards for meeting their reading goals through our school-wide Accelerated Reader Program. Our Library Program is designed to closely support student reading development through Accelerated Reader and through guided reading lessons provided during school media class instruction. School Media is one of your child’s special area classes. During this time, students will also check out library books to take home and read.
