August 12-14, 2013 Welcome Task Please take out a highlighter Pick up the Safety Rules handout Read over the rules and highlight one or two important sentences in each paragraph

Lab Safety Symbols and Rules Go over the rules with the students and indicate what parts the students should highlight. Tell some personal stories to help the students remember the correct procedures. Click on the hyperlink to see document Lab Safety Document – Prentice Hall
