Task 1: Heroes List Find 1 Partner This assignment will be collected Make a list of as many heroes as you can think of Time: 5 Minutes

Task 2: Heroic Characteristics With your partner, make two more lists 1: What characteristics does a hero have to have? 2: What are some other characteristics a hero might also have? Time: 5 Minutes

Task 3: Hero or Not? Silently read “NJ teen launches anti-bullying program” Then, on the same page as your lists, write whether or not you and your partner think she is a hero. Explain your reasoning.
