Virtual prototyping process of clothes The aim of the presentation: The review of nowadays approaches and methods used for behaviour simulation of textile materials, once they have been joined in a three-dimensional object – piece of clothing, car seat or a seating element of interior – in addition to virtual prototyping process of clothes and their implementation into virtual fashion shows and e-shops.

SIMULATION OF TEXTILE MATERIALS It is one of the most important aesthetic concept characteristics. Real presentation of clothes drape on dummies and mannequin models Drape is a fabrics ability to form pleasing folds when bent under its own weight. Drapeability Draping – three-dimensional phenomenon Testing procedure Understanding this phenomenon for the purpose of its mathematical record in computer supported environment is of significant importance when it comes to designing and constructing clothes in Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems and virtual environments.

03/06/ CONCLUSION Can virtual fashion shows or e-garment shops completely replace the real traditional fashion show or fashion stores? The answer is still no. The primary advantage of virtual simulations is that we can design clothes while directly monitoring its fitting to the silhouette of a specific person without his or her physical presence.
