Solids This apple is a solid. Solids hold their shape. The atoms in a solid are packed tightly together. This apple has seeds inside and they are solids too.                              Solid                                                        \

Liquids This soda is a liquid. Liquids take the shape of their container they are poured into . The atoms in a liquid spread around and move freely. If I open this Pepsi, air bubbles will come out and that’s a gas.                         Liquid                                     \

Gasses The air bubbles in this drink is a gas. Gasses take the shape of their container and fill the whole thing. The atoms in a gas spread out, move freely, and bounce off other things.          Gas                \

A Reversible Change With Matter When you melt chocolate, it can freeze and become a solid again

An irreversible change in matter This toast is an irreversible change  It has been cooked and baked  This is not reversible

Matter matters Matter matters because we're matter Matter is everything in the world And that’s why it matters
