Transition Work Storyboarding and scriptwriting are vital elements of pre-production in practical film making. Storyboards are crucial in film production to plan out in advance the camera shots a director wishes to deploy. This is an opportunity to hone and further develop these necessary pre-production skills.

TASKS Read the script for ‘The Proposal’.   Study the example storyboard (This is not from The Proposal, but from a different short sequence). Now – Using the blank storyboard sheets provided, produce your own storyboard for The Proposal. Between 4-5 sides is enough. You may draw your images, or use a digital camera and drop them into the cells as in the example.) Then, for each camera shot, write a few sentences which justify the shot (see example storyboard)
