Presentation transcript:

What is your experience of poverty? My experience of poverty: The worst thing for me was when I lost my family, I worked in Greenland, my wife found another man, had a child with him when I got home, there was nothing for me, no family, no money, nothing. What do you do? Like most other started a drinking tour of my hometown, 2 weeks, it was for. Back in Greenland continued with beer, and the money disappeared. Home to Denmark without money, without confidence, there is only one place to go: the street. the worst was not lack of money, it was a lack of family, many friends on the street, but only as long as you have money.

How does EAPN analysis-framework on poverty fit to your reality Tried to go to work, it went fine for a month, then came the urge to beer again, and the job was gone. Getting a shelter home here was a ban on alcohol and drugs, labor, military service, you can not do without beer was Antabuse it took desire, as long as it worked, I still live in the shelter, drinking beer, when I'm on vacation, but not site. was looking for a work injury was 50% void, started working for and with the homeless, it stopped my relationship with poverty, was rich in a completely different way.

Whats missing? It is pointless to talk about poverty without talking about money and finances! Also in Denmark. Low income and material deprivation in relation to the generally accepted level of society is a significant part of the experience of being poor. We therefore hope that the government takes the economic indicators of the proposal, which is on the way. Otherwise it makes no sense to talk about indicators of poverty. For more money, it is enough to solve the problems of poverty is another discussion.

What do you consider as the major causes of poverty Lack of a life that looks like everyone else. A job with a decent salary. A decent place to stay. The government can not do enough for the risk. Just look at the new tax. Take your monthly salary after tax, multiply it by 12 and see what you get out of the tax reform. Annual income of 120,000 kroner: - 630 dollars a year, For example. Academics, electricians, metal workers, technicians, teachers, Masters of Arts and journalists Annual income above 363,000: 5400 crowns. again it is the poor who must keep and lose money. It is a way to maintain poverty and make the difference bigger and bigger. it makes many poor people do not bother to participate in society, trying to numb the pain with alcohol and drugs, therefore you must pay tax penny for penny, no matter how to rank the path you are, then maybe we can get poverty in Denmark away.
