Project management: Initial workflow Preparation Late Nov./Early Dec Unit reviews stats/identifies sites to be converted Central team prepares mock-up of home and standard pages Conference Early Dec. Central team and unit team to discuss deliverables from preparation. Agree on changes need to UI. Discuss scope of conversion and division of labor for conversion Execution Dec./Jan Main conversion period.

Content considerations We must limit our scope in this step of conversion, even if it seems sub-optimal Convert as requested unless there is a technical impediment or you find an egregious error Use Web Team member as liaison back to unit Don’t worry about lib-guides/web site scope creep, that will be addressed in a later phase Ask questions when in doubt!

Next Steps (subject to change; don't worry—we'll let you know of changes ASAP) Each Functional Team Web Team Leader will be in contact with GAs within the week to discuss division of labor for initial steps. Some GAs might have very light assignments at first. If you aren't yet working in Production, continue to practice on Stage Week of November 31: Meet with co-GA and/or Web Team Leader at least once. (virtual is okay). UI/Basic site drafts complete. Week of December 5: Unit conferences. Make changes to drafts as needed. Divvy-up conversion tasks. Week of December 12: All-team debriefing workshop. Convert! Convert! Convert!
