Fashion Thinking Lets think about the following questions: 1.What does clothing mean to you? 2.Why is clothing important? 3.How does your clothing selection define you?

Introduction to Fashion, Apparel, and Textiles You are going to create a complete clothing list of their favorite outfit. You will identify each article of clothing excluding all under garments. You will identify the color(s) and pattern(s) of each clothing item, where the clothing items were purchased, and approximant cost of each item. You will finally identify the reason why this item was included in their favorite outfit. 15 – 20 minutesPrepare to present to your classmates.

Clothing is Not Just Stuff This movie clip is extremely exaggerated and dramatized but what we wear represents millions of dollars and endless jobs clothing industry and throughout the semester the class will learn about the history of this industry, the various jobs in this industry, how clothing is created for this industry, and why we wear the clothing we wear.
