How Children Learn

How Do Children Learn? Children learn through PLAY! They learn from everyone and everything around them They imitate the behavior of others Their behavior depends a lot upon their stage of development and their age.

Infants Attention Span: The length of time a person can concentrate on one thing Muscle Development is gradual Independent play: They play alone Put things in their mouths

Toddler Play Curious Short Attention Span Independent Play Parallel play: Playing along side of, not with, a friend. BEGINNING to share
