Happy kids with healthy teeth

What do your teeth do? Help you eat Help you speak You feel better and look better with healthy teeth and a beautiful smile

SHOULD I GO TO THE DENTIST? You should visit your dentist twice a year. At this visit, your teeth will be checked and cleaned. Cleanings remove plaque AND build-up on your teeth.

What will the dentist teach me? You will STUDY: How to take care of your teeth and gums with correct brushing and flossing techniques.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO? BRUSH AND FLOSS THEM EVERY DAY!

Let’s sing a song about brushing!

EAT HEALTHY FOOD!!!

PROTECT YOUR TEETH WHEN PLAYING SPORTS AND HAVING FUN!!!

ASK YOUR DENTIST ABOUT SEALANTS

A sealant is a clear plastic material that your dentist will “paint” on your back teeth. It forms a coating to protect the tooth from bacteria. Sealants reduce the risk of decay .

KEEP YOUR TEETH AND SMILE HAPPY!!!

Time for a Review! 1.   Should we visit the dentist? 2.   What shape do we make with the toothbrush when we are brushing? 3.  What are some examples of healthy snacks that are good for your teeth? 4.  Let’s sing our song about brushing! GREAT JOB!

Now we will watch a video about Geena and practice our brushing!
