Jenks Public Schools Multimedia Case

Jenks Public Schools The public school system of Jenks: Students like to learn and teachers like to teach. The community, school board, and school administration are on the same page.

Jenks Public Schools It pays attention to every detail of teaching children inside the classroom and out. It has 9500 students from pre-kindergarten to 12 grade.

Jenks Public Schools Continuous improvement. Strong Quality Leadership. Customer Focus. Curriculum Development meetings where administrators, teachers, and parents are involved in developing subject matter that will be taught in classes. Administrators, members of the Board of Education, and teachers brainstorm ways to maximize efficiency, increase effectiveness, and raise and save money.

Jenks Public Schools Teamwork is essential things in JPS. For example: Curriculum Development Committee is made up of more than 50 teachers, administrators and parents who work together to develop standards and objectives for the upcoming year.

Teachers Jenks Public Schools 42 percent of its teachers have Masters Degrees. 98.5 percent are "highly qualified" by "No Child Left Behind“ JPS puts a quality on continuing education for its staff. Conduct seminars and workshops. Teachers

Jenks Public Schools JPS considers itself a leader in using technology tools for teaching and communicating, including fully equipped computer labs and video production studios. JPS teachers receive approximately 300 hours of technology training per year.

Jenks Public Schools Many Jenks teachers invest the time and effort to generate their own Websites or electronic newsletters - not because they have to but because these e-tools facilitate communication between school and home.

Jenks Public Schools Teaming and joining extends not only into the community but also into the world through student and teacher exchange programs with schools in Chengdu and Shenyang, China.
