Getting started: Get index cards…many index cards. Locate your sources. Make a bibliography card for each one. Uniquely identify each source: By color By number By initials of author Be creative

Unique ID Title of the source Author of the source Publisher Year of copyright Consult: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/ or http://www.easybib.com/ similar site.
Taking notes Put the identification in the upper right hand corner of the index card. Write one, and only one, fact or piece of information on the card. Remember to include the page number on which it is found. Continue until the source is exhausted. Move on to another source.
Unique ID One fact from this particular source Be sure to indicate the page number
It’s time to create your entry Make an outline for your paper or script. Design the layout for your exhibit or web site. Create a storyboard for your documentary.
This is easily done by putting your index cards in the order you wish to present your entry. If you change your mind, just change the order of your index cards.
Everything should be so simple!!!
