Things that will help you to achieve your goal Be willing to take more responsibility for your own learning (reading round the subject out of class is important) Prompt attendance at all classes, with advanced notice of absence if at all possible. The more classes you miss the harder it is to do well on this course.   A positive approach with concentration and commitment in class. It is your choice to waste your own time –it is not fair to waste that of others though! Submission of work by the given deadline. The responsibility is yours, you will not be chased for work. If you do not hand work in, it will not be marked. This means you will not receive any feedback. You will not know what you need to do to improve. You will be choosing to miss out on the support your teacher could be giving you. Be prepared to come and ask about anything you do not understand.

Today is the day Remember, GCSE is designed for a 2 year delivery and you only have just 9 months to do this. This time will go by very quickly. You must continue to set SMART targets for yourself to ensure you do as well as it is possible for you to do. Always give 100%.
