Public administration reform in Croatia What have you already learned about the public administration reform in Croatia before acceding the EU? When was it conducted? What were its main goals? What do you understand by the following terms: EUROPEANISATION MODERNISATION of public administration

Europeanisation of public administration Read paragraph 1 and find what is meant by Europeanisation: Adjustment to the European experience with public administration Adoption of administrative standards that are spreding through the currently created Europeana administrative space (the rule of law, the principle of subisidiarity, the principle of transparency, result-oriented policies, citizen-centered work etc.) Ability to implement the acquis communautaire
