Coco Chanel Research Paper Proposal By: Tara McCain

Thesis Statement The designs created by Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel were one of the huge influnces on women’s fashion during the mid 20th century. She inspired an entirely new concept to women’s fashion by simplifying it while still keeping her style feminine and classy.

Rationale [What are you doing? Why are you doing it?] -Coco Chanel and her influence on 20th century women’s fashion -Because of my interest in fashion and to present to women and anyone with a mutual passion for the fashion world the huge changes contributed by Chanel

Methodology [How are you going to do it?] I am going to analyze and explain : Coco Chanel's personal style Her designs How her fashion came to be popular during her lifetime How it affected so many woman around the world How it has changed fashion during the 20th century and influenced so many aspects in the world of fashion
