“Any space can be a learning space “Any space can be a learning space. By changing spaces, we are changing how learning takes place.” Diana Oblinger: Education in Exponential Times: 2007

Students and Technology They are visually, not textually oriented. They are the first generation to be not just consumers, but also producers of content. Oblinger & Oblinger, 2005 Hartman, Joel L. Education in Exponential Times: 2007.

Digital Natives, Digital Immigrants Today’s students are “native speakers” of the digital language of computers, video games, and the internet. They process information and behave differently than previous generations. Digital immigrants (we) have had to adapt; our “accents” are discernable. Prensky, 2001 Hartman, Joel L. Education in Exponential Times: 2007.

Hart, 2006 Oblinger, Diana. Education in Exponential Times: 2007.
