Early life Her school was for African Americans Born in Alabama in 1912 Her school was for African Americans It was just one room

What is she famous for Rasa was told to get out of the seat so the white person could sit dawn and Rosa said no She started the Montgomery bus boycott It lasted 381 days

Character traits with support Strong -she refused to give up her seat Smart -she did not give up her seat Brave -willing to get arrested for not giving up her seat.

Major accomplishments She earned the presidential medal of freedom 1996 December 1, 1955 parks refused to give up her seat. She started Montgomery city bus boycott.

Interesting facts She was arrested, jailed and fined because she would not give up her seat on the bus.
